Passenger window goes down but not up?

Ok on my Teg you can roll the window down but not up on the passenger side, to roll the window back up I have to do it from the drivers side? is there a prob with the motor or what?

LOL, Honda engineering. I have the same problem with my passenger front window. I just never roll it down anymore. I would appreciate it if someone that is knowlegable about this topic diagnose the problem. I guess it could be motor or some sort of belt that’s causing the problem?

Sounds like a problem with the passenger side switch… replace the switch FIRST it is a lot cheaper/ easier than the motor… and I highly DOUBT there is anything wrong with the motor since the window can still be rolled up…

Let me just say this… and I am not being a smart ass…

The motor that rolls the window up doesn’t magically switch based on which side you roll it up on… it is the same motor that raises the window hether you do it from the driver or passenger’s side… it is most likely a worn out switch.

I had twindles installed so could this actually be causing the problem? I guess my problem is a bit different since I have a hard time rolling up on both the driver and passenger switch.

What is Twindles?

I think it’s some sort of relay. It enables 1 click up/down of power windows. At least that was my understanding when I had them installed.

If a twiddle is that, then yes, it could also be the twiddle… sort of like an express down for all of the windows…

If “Twindles” is anything like Twindows, then check your twindle relay wiring conections, especially where they intersect into the OEM wiring. Otherwise I’d venture to say it’s the switch as stated earlier. You can definatley rule out the motor if it rolls up normally from the drivers-side switch.

As a matter fact i think they were Twindows.

Thanks`

Aight thanks alot for all the help and if anyone has one or knows where i can get one for cheep let me know thanks alot again!

Another thing it might be, mine did the same exact thing. Ithought it was all of the above things when in fact it wasn’t. i took my window motor out took it apart walla the problem the grease they put in thoses things isn’t really grease… i have know clue what it is…but any how i cleaned it up re-greased everything that moved made sure it worked put it back in now my passenger window goes up and down like its brand new…faster than my driver side. just a thought.
