PCV valve problem someone please help!!

So my pcv valve broke inside the lower hose so I decided to chizel the rest out next thing you know the lower hose just falls from under the I’m I look and the tube that its connected to snapped inside. I have no idea what the lower hose on the pcv valve is connected to. Any ideas? Is it the “breather box” it is a 91 stock everything

Also the car starts and just dies after a couole minutes or if I rev it past a certain rpm can this be the pcv? Also throwing out code 25??? Sorry for all the questions mixed in one but I’m desperate tryna get her started before april (honda day at atco) any replies are much appreciated thanks in advance

Anybody?

Yes its attached to the breather box.
I don’t know what code 25 is, search it or get a haynes manual at autozone its only $25 and it’ll help you in the future. I use it often.

Thank you very much for verifying that for me.

ugh. had the same thing happen to me years ago, ended up buying a 12inch needle nose pliers to get the chunks out of the hose so they didn’t get sucked in.

I was parked out side of the auto parts store when it happened, so i had to at least get it cleaned out to drive home.
I still haven’t replaced the hose… it is just a bitch to get to even during an oil change because you cant see and you can barely FEEL the thing.

next oil change I’m going full synthetic so i will spend a bit more time under the car to replace the hose with a plain hose and push it up 6inches or so past the hole in the intake. then I’m going to put in a coupler to increase the hose size to one that the new PCV valve will fit in.
this pcv valve hose problem is apparently common and i doubt i will have the same problem again but if I’m going to fix the hose i may as well do it with left over hose and a $5 coupler from the hardware store in order to avoid the same issue in the future.

Damn seems like a bitch to change this. Can a bad pcv valve cause the car to stall a couple minutes after start up?

Did you plug the hole in the intake manifold before running the car? And yes it is a pain, I had to remove the manifold to fix mine years ago.
