good work. no, i didnt adhere anything. i just cut the bottle and placed it over the opening then i put the cowl on top of it. exactly as pictured in post 53 is what i did and i lined the cowl with new weather stripping as shown in my picture
Yeah that picture sucks and he used something different. Did you make the curve of the bottle go front of back or side to side over the opening? I’d assume front to back.
if i remember correctly i cut the top off the bottle then the bottom, then i cut the middle portion in half going from top to bottom then i just trimmed and shaped it until it fit nicely and coverd the opening like a hood. the curve of the bottle i think went from front to back. so like this /_ ->front of car
if that makes sense… the / is the bottle facing the front of the car and the _ is the opening for the blower.

haha that suprisingly does make sense cause thats eactly how I pictured it. Thanks for all the info! I’ll post up how it goes.
I guess my last question actually is weather or not you got all new clips or jsut used what you had left. I feel like I’ll probably just replace them all anyways cause most were already missing for some reason. Need a whole new cowl too.
I use a tiny Snap-On pocket screwdriver. You have to press firmly to break them loose them back off the pressure and let the screwdriver turn them. A phillips head only steps them out usually. It don’t hurt that I’ve been doing this since 8th years old either but with a little patience and practice you’ll get it.
