To be more specific, 92-93 front ends with their license plate
relocated towards the bumper lense on the driver’s side.
I’m looking into relocating the license plate, just trying to
figure out the best place to put it(which area to drill a hole…etc.)
that will:
-not rub against the bumper cover
-stable as hell/won’t fall off
-not get me a ticket (CA…where you can get a ticket for whatever)
theres a guy on HT with brackets for the relocating, $30 or something, but i know alot of people in SoCaL have relcated their liscense plates. hopefully youll get some pictures. I would show you mine, but i just totally removed it. and shaved in the holes.
I didn’t have to drill anything. I just made two L-shaped brackets out of those braces you get with car stereo’s (the one’s you use to lock the back of the radio)
I slid the brackets between the bottom of the bumper and the lip. The bolts that hold the lip in place under the signal light are exactly the same distance apart as the holes on the lic. plate.
I just wanted something different  just to be different
btw… it on there solid (won’t fall off) I also stuck a foam sticker on the back of the plate so that it won’t rub against the bumper…

Is this what you’re talking about?
If it is, then thanks:up:
This is exactly what I’m looking for!! And the best thing is that this guy is in the bay area!! I was gonna make my own bracket, but this will save me the time and headache!!
are those fat five gsr rims but chrome? wtf??? yeah i think it looks best with no front plate, or if there is a plate i think the lower it is the better it looks except math labs yours looks like if you hit a speed bump or whatever itd scrape as it is the lowest part of the car. but your car isnt that low so maybe not
yep some fat5’s came in polished. it looks really nice actually… i have had no problem with speedbumps, it hangs about a 1/4 inch below the lip. not too bad…haha im just waiting for the day i scrape against those parking block things.
i heard ppl used the “V” bracket. Not exactly sure what that is… but i’m looking for an easy, not have to take off the bumper, relocater for the license plate. I want something off to the side… so shoot me some ideas. I searched on here…but still trying to find a way that is fairly easy to do… and cheap!.. but no zipties!!! The “V” bracket thing sounds good… but not sure how to do it. any help would be appreciated.
I currently am using zip ties for my front bumper, but for the back I am using tape. haha, Just black electrical tape, double sided. Ive had the same tape on there for 2 years now, holds great. haha.
