i noticed on mine the other day that the front crossmember is different from a non GS-R. has anybody ever noticed that? it doesn’t have the center cross member running to the steering rack like the other b18 integra’s. i noticed my left front wheel was pushed back after hitting a pothole and though maybe it had pulled the radius arm through the crossmember a little bit. so i was checking it out and i had a buddy of mine (itshumble) on here, 92 integra on the rack and his has the bar in the middle. and it bolts to the front cross member. on my GS-R it has a cover over the holes where the middle crossmember would bolt too. i was going to replace it with one out of a GS integra but i took the radius arm out along with the bushings and noticed i could tightened the arm up a little more. so i cut off about an 1/8 of an inch off of the aluminum sleeve between the two bushings and it brought in the wheel ALOT. it is still back half an inch compared to the other side though.
anyways just wondering if anybody else had noticed that or not.
I was thinking, that if you guys and girls would like to post up the last 4 digits of your vin like Casey did… I could add it next to your names. Also, I was thinking if you guys don’t mind including your real names, that way we can associate a name with the car. I was thinking of linking your names to one of the pics you guys posted.
Sounds cool?

Yes B16A3TEG, the chassis is set up slightly different than the non vtec(B18a) cars… If you look further into your chassis, you will find a canadian makers mark under the front bumper
I don’t have pics right now… the car had a bad hatch, so I’ve been working on it. Does that make me… 51? I’ve come in contact with 2 other black GSR owners here in Toronto in the past. (not on the list). Don’t remember their names… it was just for quick buy/sell deals.
BTW - i bought my car used, and it didn’t come with the owner’s manual. Where on the VIN do i find the production#??
VDo - you might want to fix the spelling on the image. =)
My other GSR(under construction) with no motor. Names Alex. Primer#1846 Green#2790 Swapping motor from primer to Aztec Green this week!! Prime GSR shell sold to a member on here.
Ok, i’m a bit confused here with the production# stuff.
From what I understand, my production# would be the last 4 digits on the vin, correct?
Now the last 4 digits on my vin is: 0176. So my car is GSR#176??
So would that more acurately be - Black+GSR = #0176?
It throws me off even more because I see the vins from the other posts and most are way higher than mine - and this is a 93. I’ve seen some 92s and they’re higher in production#.
I’m sorry if this is this a noob question.
I have attached pics of my car.
Just recently purchased it, and just working on some little stuff here and there.
The 1-pieces from this car are currenlty for sale. They have already been replaced with another set in much better condition.
The GSR badge was removed by the previous owner, and front emblem shaved.
future mods

Almost brand new 1piece headlights (already installed)
replace hatch (bad bad rust on left side)
can you take a closer better picture of your radiator please?
This should not throw you off, as stated before… the gs_r’s were made in a run from late 1991 and sold over two years, so it IS possible that a early run car was not preped and shipped to a dealer until the the 1993 model year
