can you take a batter set of pictures of your rad? no? yes?
thanks in advance
Schu
Its pretty much a fact that the last numbers of the vin have NOTHING to do with production numbers. Ive owned more gsr’s than anyone (that i know of) on this forum, and my “production numbers” have been all over the board. In fact, a couple years ago another member had the last same 4 digits at the end of his vin on his 92, as my old 93.

Schu - Hey what’s up. Sorry about that. I have pics at home, I’ll post it tonight.
I’m pretty sure its an aftermarket radiator though. What is it you’re looking for exactly?
toohot - Wow, that’s one hell of a discovery (same vin?). So all in all, the so-called production# is just a 4 digit (likely random) numbers that don’t exceed 3000-4000 (whatever the actual production# is). Interesting…
So if someone had the cool one that said 0001, its doesn’t exactly mean its the first GSR produced = we will never know which one was the first produced, and it will be very difficult to know how many were produced unless we can find owners with high vin#s.
As you mentioned - your number overlapped with someone elses’… that’s messed up… and it’ll be even harder (or impossible??!) to conclude this research.
the overlap was never confirmed… it was merely talked about, in addition the vins were from different years P vs N… I am looking to see if it isa different OEM radiator, the OEM’s are brown(that turn green after time). but those tanks still look plasic
Please, lets not get discouraged regarding the vin #'s debate.
Keep posting pics… even if you have already posted.
You guys need to get out there and take some pics with your city/town as the backdrop. I don’t know about you guys but I love looking at pictures of cars, expecially Integras but not camera phone or blurry out of focus ones.
I know not all of us have the skills like Digital Horizion. If anyone in the Ft Lauderdale/Miami area would like me to snap a few pics of their cars, I’m willing to do so, no charge.

2nd owner since 97
edit cant get my camera to transport files to my pc
Ok, it wasnt “confirmed” but why would someone lie about their vin number? Let me reiterate, they werent the same number, rather same last digits. I suspect that the numbers are in fact sequence numbers, but not as simple as #1 is the first ever built and #4000 is the last
They are both mine by the way.
What kind of suspension you ridin on baby?
I’m debating whether to lower mine a bit, the tire gap of the stock looks kinda bugs me:
Skunk2 coilovers dropped about inch and a half with Tokico Illuminas. Not the best but I didnt have money at the time for anything better.

I bought this one on ebay for $4,442.00 on 2002 from an old man that bough it new. I bought the car in Florida import it to Puerto Rico, then I moved to CA and brought it with me also. My GS-R goes with me were ever I go!!! It has 185,xxx miles and still runs strong. Excellent condition for a 1992 car that is driven daily. Full restoration will start mid next year.

I know man. First thing I’m going to do this year is to buy a suspension set up. I’m saving the money right now. It’s going to be Koni yellows with Eibach sports. This is what I used to have on my Audi A-4 and the handling was incredible.
