I read on here about the conversion but I need a picture of what’s the main points on the switch over from having abs to turning it to non abs. I’ll like to know what’s the m10 nut and the m12?? Any pictures and little red circle around the key points?
ANy one have any pictures? Or can some one direct me to a link that has pictures of it done. Reading and trying to visualize it is harder then it seems.
We’ll I got the job done once again with no help from a g2 owner :down: it was pretty easy.
Didn’t use no flare kit or use any tool to bend the lines.the m10 n m12 bolts still confuse me because
I didn’t run into it.i used a da with non abs lines and non abs master cylinder . The brake booster is the same! It’s no need to swap it over.i used two short lines from my abs unit to connect to the rear prop value. I just bend it by hands.then wohla
The abs and non-abs master cylinders are NOT the same. The reason you did not run into the different sized fittings is because you used the non-abs master cylinder. If you used the ABS master cylinder (which I recommend if you ever plan on upsizing your brakes) then you will need to change the fitting. All of that info is covered in the multiple abs conversion threads here on g2ic. There used to be pics in those threads too but possibly the pics are no longer there?
Colin ur right but it will do for now. I was wondering if anyone was going to correct me on the booster lol. The abs booster and non abs is not to same.
A lot of the stuff that was cover for the conversion are old thread with old image engine provider.
