I plan to drop a GSR motor in once I recieve my tax return, 92/93 front bumper, amber corners and turn signals. Type R style rear lip, undecided on front lip, install my passenger sparco, finish gutting the trunk, remove rear wiper, finish polishing my wheels, and other little tid bits to tidy her up.§
14.5 hours with 55$ worth of sharpies, plus clearcoat at my friends shop. I absolutely LOVE the outcome. I wanted to set myself aside from all the local tuners. I figured I’d go out with a big bang, and try to draw attention to my car that’ll spark up conversation with dozens if people, and I can slip in that I run a business making shift boots. Well, I went to a car meet in PA, and someone there reconized my hood! Localy I’m known as “the guywith that hood”
the goal was a huge success, it’s brought quite a few customers, and I’ve met some cool people all over my hood.
I’ll eventually get one piece headlights, but i’m waiting until after I drop a motor in
as for the window stickers, I recieve pretty good discounts for rocking them, they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. 40%off arp extended wheel studs- just to name one. and I have several people rocking my company’s sticker.
I wet sanded my hood with 1500, then used wax/grease remover to clean the hood. And then sharpie paint pens. After that it was clearcoated. Still need to wetsand and buff though.
finally got around to my buddy’s house to weld up the passenger sparco bracket, so last night i sandblasted and painted it. on sunday i have to run to the hardware store for some nuts/bolts so i can bolt seat to the frame.
i’ll have more pictures of both seats installed on sunday or monday
