I need to know why there would suddenly be no power to the main relay while driving.
I have a 92 with a 95 b18c1 with all stock wiring and a xenocron chipped pr4.
yesterday I was driving home after some errand running and my car died. the only factor that was different from my normal driving was my friend in the passenger seat.
can anyone please help me with tracing the power lines to the main relay? I can’t find a wiring diagram anywhere and this is really bothering me.
I know there are 2 power to the relay I have power at one and not the other.
1- Black/yellow, from fuse 24 - 15A, [hot in run and start] in under dash fuse box, injector relay control and fuel pump power.
2- Yellow/white, from fuse 38 - 10A, [hot at all times] in engine bay fuse box, injector relay input.
3- Blue/white, from fuse 18 - 7.5A, [hot during crank to start only] in engine bay fuse box, "back-up power for fuel pump relays coil.
To confirm, when you turn ign. switch to run, [not start] you can not hear the fuel pump prime and the CEL stays on, is that correct?
Does everthing else in the car work?
I want you to check for power at the injectors, [lead thar is the same color on all 4 injector plugs] and at the distributor assembly, black/yellow lead with ign. switch in both run and start, and let me know what you find. 94
