plug on rear of block

i was just swapping parts from my old motor to my new rebuilt motor and noticed that there was a difference between the plugs on the back of the block… On my old motor the plug is an actual plug but on the rebuilt motor the plug is threaded for something… Does anybody know what should go in there or if I should just swap over the solid plug from my old motor? Here is a pic of the threaded plug…

thanks

anyone?

i think thats the oil sensor but not 100%

yea that’s the oil pressure sensor…you never forget where that thing is after an ls/v swap

are you sure? Because i’m pretty sure that I pulled the oil pressure sensor out from the hole just to the right of it…
anyone have pics of the back of their block with all sensors intact…?

from a thread I found apparently it is an oil temp sensor…
