Poormans Type-R fuel pump question?????

Will I be able to get away with using my stock LS fuel pump on a fully built poor mans type r?

so u spent a lot of money to build a poormans type R?? then at the end you want to skimp out on a 100 dollar upgraded fuel pump?? lol you can get away with it…

Bro. It’s either you answer the question or not. I came on to this site for some advice. Not for people like you to be a smartass on other people’s threads. So is it ok for me to run my stock fuel pump? Or will I run into problems? I didnt build the motor, I had a shop do it. Just wanna get some insight from other people

well if you wouldnt get butthurt but his smartassness you would have realized he said you can use your stock pump… face palm

So far this thread is bull… Every post is worthless. Your initial question isn’t even capable of being answered correctly, so you can just go ahead and ignore everyone’s attempt to answer it. And in the time the post has been up you easily could have searched and found your answer.

“Fully built” means nothing, it could be one thing to Person A, and a completely different thing to Person B. And if you do truly mean fully built, as in the most possible upgrades and the most possible horsepower you can get out of a b series vtec, then no, your stock pump would likely not be sufficient. But something tells me that isn’t how your engine is built.

cough

can you at least tell us what mod’s your lsv has that makes it fully built.
are you running pistons and what spec?
cams and what spec?
rods?
what crank?
head?
sleeves?
HP goal?
you get the idea.

I wouldn’t run a 210HP+ lsv on stock pump even id it’s still doable.
not after all that time and money, on parts, engine, and tunning.

Yes it’ll be fine. I would recommend you get an upgrade though you will benefit more. I am a huge fan of the xenocron 255lph units. Great price and they are QUIET!
