I have a couple Problems I will Start with the Tranny. I have a 92 LS with a B20 I bought the car about a month ago an i liked hondas untill i got this. On my way home from geting it i broke a cv shaft not a big problem easy fix. But after i picked it up on the highway it kept on poping out of fifth gear so i said f it an just left it in forth but my ? is what is causeing that the tranny is supose to only have 45k miles on it. It dont grind in any gears. Problem #2 when the car is siting not movind if i rev it up to around 3500 rpms i hear a vibrating that starts in the front an vibrats back through the shifter?
An the last problem is i have the car sitin in my drive way an i dont drive it much but if i go to start it an it has been sitin in the sun with the windows up it wont start no fuel pressure on the gage. But if i roll the windows down an come back in a hour it starts right up no problems?
I think i payed to much for this car it is nice but needs work i payed 1700 for it. It has a wide body kit on it but need a front bumper an has a nice paint job black with gliter like flakes in it
For your “tranny” problem i would start with looking at your shift linkage assembly, bushings, etc. Maybe the same problem for #2. For the third, thats easily the main fuel regulator. You need to keep your windows cracked, sunshade up, and/or re-solder or replace it with a new one. search on this topic, lots of stuff about it. congrats on the new car, but id scrap the body kit
Meh, should have bought a stock motor and built it yourself. I’m not a fan of buying swapped cars because reasons for selling usually include them screwing up. As for the popping out issue, mine did that too. Ended up with the transmission exploding…
I though when the synks go bad it grinds going it to gear at least that is what my rex did. As for the car i am going to try to fix the body work an what ever elce breaks on it an try to get at least what i payed for it. I allways though honda were good cars but i guess not this one but then agian i havent really gave it a chance so i will see how things work out. i get my Lss back in the next couple weeks so then it will get drove
