Post a PIC of your latest purchase.

cs4 is aiight. I have it at the office but keep cs3 on the mac.
Why CS2? I like CS3 better. What OS do you need it for? Mac OSX or Windows?

IMHO CS4 is a waste… they really didn’t change much at all.

\Adobe rant
Wow ok, I was very pleased with the CS4 upgrades and am looking forward to getting it here. Since I work for a software company I have realized how crappy software theft is so now I’m stuck with what I can afford.

Do you work on a Mac or PC at your job, Regan?

You jokin around Stu?

PC everywhere

LOL

By that he means fuck yes. It going to be waaaaay better.

if you guys want to pay a very and i mean very low price for adobe software let me know. we have a hook up at work that we can buy individual programs for $100 or less and its all legit.

come with boxes and cds?

yes they are full retail purchases, through employee pricing. well as far as i know they come with discs and receipt, probably should come with boxes. i haven’t seen one come to the shop yet to check it out. my supervisor just told us about it last week. and its for either mac or pc.

Stopped and picked this on the way home. Two years ago I thought that a dual core, 3gb of ram machine would be enough to get me through. CS4 threw a wrench in that plan.

XPS-430, Vista Home premium 64bit, quad core, 6 gb of ddr3 ram, 750gb hdd,

It will pass for a while

I picked this up a few weekends ago.

I decided to upgrade from my xti, but I felt that I did not need something as powerful as the 5d Mark II. And I have to say that it was definitely worth it. I love this camera and the lens that I paired it with.

Picked up this a week back to replace my aging 17" Powerbook G4 1.67 ghz.

Decided to not get the new unibody model and instead settled for the model right before. Plus I got $300 off so it wasn’t bad.

17" MacBook Pro, 2.5 ghz, 4 gigs ram, 320 gig HD, glossy display.

Also picked up a Maxtor 1 TB external hard drive.

antec 300 case for my little brothers PC rebuild

hahaha thats awesome I just bought an antec 300 case for a computer I’m building for my sister and her fiance. Did you get it onsale at mirco center? I paid $39.00 for it there.

awesome i have that same lens. Wish it had a little more zoom but its razor sharp.

Great choice on that Canon body and lens. I have the 40D and a Tamron 17-50mm which is very similar to your Canon L but is an f/2.8 and has IS. If you haven’t ever tried prime lenses I’d high recommend the Sigma 30mm f/1.4, it’s a great lens for crop bodies as it acts nearly identical to a 50mm on a full frame. Plus the f/1.4 means you can really stop down the aperture, it’s great for shooting in low light or DOF shots. I’d also highly recommend a flash if you don’t already have one, it’ll open up your possibilities tenfold.

Spikey, great choice on the macbook too. I’ve loved mine (had it for a little over a year). I am sorta surprised you opted for the glossy screen though, I find those really hard to see unless the lighting is perfect.

It is a very good lens, I was going to get the 16-35mm F/2.8 but I rarely use my camera indoors and when I door there is usually enough light for a fast shutter speed.

edit: I have the 50mm f/1.8 and I love that lens too. I also have the 580ex II which is a excellent flash

Yeah, originally I had wanted a anti-glare screen, but they didn’t have any in stock, so I ended up with the glossy.

I’ve kind of gotten used to it, but there are certain times where it does get annoying. If it bugs me too much, I can always get a anti-glare film from PowerSupport to compensate.
