Post a PIC of your latest purchase.

1080p is better, but I don’t know how much of a difference you would actually see.

If I found a 1080i for $500 less than a 1080p TV, I would definitely keep that $500.

Mine is 1080i and I watch BluRay on it all the time. No complaints from me, it’s amazing.

Cool thanks guys. I thought it was 1080i. I’ll have to refine my search on Craigslist.

I actually have a great credit score and have had no issues & great rates when buying my house or my two cars.

I’m talking more buying lunch, gas, Christmas shopping and that nonsense on credit cards and paying the minimums.

Should be ordering these this week.

What… are you making pron?:rockon:

I just might

Porn in HD…nice.

That’s not why I’m buying it BUT it might get that use :giggle:

i read that 1080i vs. 1080p is not very different besides the input. I.e. from component input it is 1080i, but via computer or HDMI its 1080p…dont quote me on it though. i have to look through the Sony blu ray disc player manual to make sure…

It’s 2 very different things - but sometimes the eye cannot tell the difference.

1080p = progressive scan.

1080i = interlaced.

Progressive = truly showing all lines of resolution (the entire picture, pixel by pixel).

Interlaced = Rapidly displaying (1/60th of a second) half of the image, and then altering to the other half of the image.

Most people’s eyes can’t really tell the difference on a good TV.

But - larger TV’s or fast motion can sometimes result in a blurred or degraded picture on a 1080i format. They are both capable of displaying a high resolution picture though.

I would NOT get a 720p TV, though. I would get a NATIVE 1080i display though.

[QUOTE=kNOwLedGe420;1963247]WTF?

Why CS2? I like CS3 better. What OS do you need it for? Mac OSX or Windows?

IMHO CS4 is a waste… they really didn’t change much at all.

\Adobe rant

Windows. I guess CS3 would be better. I’ve just seen CS2 used so many times I’m familiar with it. Right now I use 7.0.

Yeah but is a 1080i tv I find off of craigslist going to have a better picture than my 15 year-old, 55" rear projection tv?

holy shit… you better believe it. lol
