herb, you got a thing for spokes…
put a deposit on this party car
does your big black ass even fit in there? :giggle:
comes with a shoe horn and bucket of astroglide standard
car looks fast
about 35 mpg and it cost me less than a set of tires for my 740.
are you ever going to have a fun car again?
one day you’ll wake up and realize that sometimes it makes sense to be practical.
I live in a state that has the potential for horrible weather between the months of october and march. This scratches anything RWD off the list.
Having to rent or borrow cars to get to work (where I am an essential employee) sucks. The 740 was a lesson in why its dumb to have a rwd car as your only mode of transportation when you live in this climate and have a job like mine.
I live in state that has a high rate of honda theft. I live in an area where just about every honda or acura I see has been molested in one way or another. My personal favorite are the morons who cut holes in their back bumpers. You’re not running high 9’s and the 2 12’s in your trunk and 17 inch rims aren’t helping your cause either. Counted 15 examples of this in a 6 mile drive the other day.
I had tons of fun getting pulled over and harassed for driving a certain type of car in certain areas.
The Tercel is stupid cheap and had a bunch of things replaced over the last 15 months.
FWD , automatic (yes I can drive stick but why bother when there are close to 1,100 cars per sq mile here and a million hills and lights) functioning a/c. Thats all I ask.
Once I am in a situation where I can insure something new (apparently marriage / credit scores / being 30+ make you a better more responsible driver , and 11 solid years of no points at fault accidents or infractions means DICK) I plan on leasing. Oh and it will be the cheapest car I can find.
Cars are giant rolls of toilet paper. I wipe my ass with them until the roll is empty then I buy another one.
:werd: I use my car to take me to school and be my weekend warrior and still get 30mpg
I want a car that is reliable, economic, comfortable and looks nice on the interior. having some “umph” and a nice looking exterior is just a bonus.

After owning a sport bike, making a car “fast” is just pointless. No matter how much money you dump into it, it will never be as fast or as fun as a $10,000 stock sportbike.

I don’t give a shit how you think my car looks and I really don’t give a shit what the exterior looks like; 99% of the time I’m looking at it will be from the inside, if I’m comfortable and the interior is well made, I’m happy.
Growing up really changes your perspective, because it used to be completely opposite for me.
oh and I just bought this:
Births nailed it - I just want a reliable, economical car that has some oomph and a good interior.
My 01 Accord delivers on the reliability, economy (31 mpg highway average, usually 24-26 city), and thanks to it being manual, it has more than enough power to get out of its own way. It’s actually a little fun to drive.
After driving nothing but Hondas for 12 years, it’s nice knowing where every little control, dial, and button is by heart even if I get into, say, a Civic. I’m on my 3rd Accord, had 2 Civics, and 1 Integra.
I just got this in the mail today, HTC Mogul Touch screen smart phone. Brand new off eBay for $211 shipped
Just ordered 3 packs of 3
Going to have to order quite a few more but this will get me started until I order another tb drive.
When we got a foot of snow with an inch of ice on top of it a couple months ago, my wife’s 325i BMW lowered on factory sport springs got me everywhere I needed to go with 205/60/15 all seasons.
Learn to drive, failure

The hospital I work at sits ontop of 3 steep hills. There comes a point where I could have the greatest tires known to man and theres noway I’m making it up the hills in 8-12 inches of snow in something other than front or awd.
Infact the street I live on is a very steep grade. Of the few storms we saw, I was able to make it to my driveway before losing traction. The storm before this one sucked, zero traction until the salt truck arrived.
