y you ask
Because you didn’t mask very well. You painted over your brake booster, brake lines, brake line clips, proportioning valve and upper control arm mounting nuts.
i think that what he was going for in his look
What, to look bad? And then look worse the first time you have to change one of those parts?
If he wanted to paint those parts he should have removed them to do so. And some stuff (like the plastic clips and nuts/bolts) really shouldn’t ever be painted.
I’ve seen a lot of these bays. Stuff like that might look OK in a photo especially if the bay isn’t done. But look at one in person with everything hooked up and it’s a completely different story. Look at it again down the road when paint is peeling or flaking off and it’s worse still…
I agree with you as I my self have seen a lot done like that.Seen cars with twin turbo set up with a lot of money in the car an it like they paint everthing in the bay one color (that not for me) but it is each there own
Colin
your a pretty smart guy go read my hard bake question up top in the suspension section . An tell me what you think the problem might be ? If you could for me?

I don’t think I have one without the prop. I will take a photo one day and post. This Photo was from yesterday at a car show at West Chester University PA. I took first place in the Classic Category.
