solconviction- OEM JDM B16 P30 pistons .25mm over, acl bearings, 8lb flywheel, ferrea stainless flat face valves, type r springs and retainers, polished ports, port and gasket matched to intake, and all new gaskets. It runs great i love it. I am going to get either skunk2 or crower stg2 cams for it soon now that it’s broken in. I would also like to slip in a thinner head gasket to get it up around 12:1.
Nice! Sounds like a nice refreshed B17…keep us updated, I was also thinking about the Skunk2 cams and was curious how it would be with your +/- 12:1 compression and how the idle would be…Great work!

I should be getting to work on this soon. Please ignore the FAKE reservoir covers, I need to rip those things off. Anybody curious the intake and valve cover are high temp paint color is “Cast Iron”

I really like your car. I like how you did the gauges, and the intake. I was thinking about wrinkle painting my intake to match my valve cover. What gauges do you have ran?
Thanks, top row is boost/vac, oil temp, fuel pressure… bottom two are oil temp and water temp. Top gauges are full sweep, bottoms are short… damn does that make me sound like I have OCD. Getting that boost gauge working is getting closer, but right now I got mad vacuum.

I got the block adapter from stealthmode performance. Comes with the oil line kit.

man its hard finding clean tan leather seats for the g2(took me 2 years and finally found a set)

took the extra headrest and swapped it out with the rear head rest
^looks awesome…I converted to black/tan from all black, but I kept black seats. I couldn’t find any g2 leathers, so I went with g3. It was such a pain to get them installed too. All the info on this site is wrong about them. I wish I could find some black ones I’d get rid of the g3 seats in a heartbeat. They sit up too high and are too big.
Got a bunch of monkeys from Cedar Point, didn’t know what else to do with them 
yeah im gonna go tan/black too but on a more simpler scale. just swap out my front speaker covers from tan to black. then at the most, change the tan upholstery finish on my door panels to black. make my interior look like a chocolatechip cookie.
Haha cool. Yeah I threw some black pieces here and there, like the door cups and handles, the little panels in the trunk, anything little that was plastic I left black. I did want to put in tan carpet with black OEM floormats but the guy who donated all the tan stuff to me had shitty carpet.

yeah still purple, guess the lighting or editing made it look blue, love the way blue looks. going back to white soon when i have time to pull the motor out, always working and have to spend time with the wife and kids on the weekends…
