Or a 94+ LS. I did the same thing, except I used the filter/airbox from a 94+ Integra as well.
Did that big ass flat ground wire make a big difference after you’ve swapped it with the stock ground cable? Is it safe to be mounting it like that? Just curious…
my friends da
Yeah its a DC ebay intake pipe with a K&N filter which is about to get dropped for a velocity stack setup.
i didnt really notice anything different…the old ground cable was corroded so i just swapped it out…i dont think it matters where its mounted {correct me if im wrong anybody} but i was lazy and didnt want to remove the battery to put it where its supposed to be
your rad support to head ground is no good. it needs to be on the stud.
redtegra, were you refering to me?
I would assume so. You need to mount your valve cover ground to a stud.
isnt that the factory location for that ground?..i just replaced the corroded factory ground with a new one:shrug:
Cruizer: Your only grounding the valve cover, ideally when its connected to the stud it passes through to the head, which correct me if Im wrong, helps with the ignition.
Here’s my engine bay…
Interior pics pending…

your engine bay is SEXY!!! got pics of the rest of the car?
I recognize it, and the rest is just as sex-tastic.
Specs on that Airbox setup Integ21? did you custom make it? looks amazing. i’m looking to do something like that with my B20VTEC setup. do you have a cold air duct underneath it? if so where is it routed exactly? behind the bumper light, or did you go the extra mile and run it to the front “grille”?
let me know, or if you purchased it, let me know where, because that is amazing.
Integ21…that made alot of sense…now that i think about it I think im gonna go change it.
Good to see you active again Dan. Your car looks mint as always!
-r0ni3.
93dabeast: Here’s a pic of the teg…cleaned up
imcnblu: The intake is really just my Injen SRI witout the cold air extension and a Weapon R air box (which isnt really a box more of a heatsheild) painted charcoal with a texture. The air duct is in the works.
The interior as is… in the process of redoing all the carpet.
Chrome Powdercoated the power steering brackets, and in the middle of fabricating a custom battery tie down. A few more pieces will be powdered by the end of the week
will the weapon R “box” fit in the stock location with the battery still there? i have a stock sized battery, a bosch battery if that helps. i saw a weapon R airbox for sale at one point online, but i didn’t buy it because it looked “universal” and i didn’t want to have to “engineer” it in there.
