It would be the same color, the window tint would be at least similar, I liked the crazy designs (mainly because I had them custom cut for me, not some template cheezeball flames)

I’d keep the same hood, maybe a less agressive front bumper and rear bumper. The sides were fine.
I probably would have left the interior pretty close.
And of course I would have spent much more money under the hood. But that was a good question.
Hey The dude? I dont mean to be an ass but why did you get mad at that kid for saying your car was rice? I mean you said it yourself when you posted the pic. you even posted a smiley shooting itself that implied you knew it was rice and implying that it was maybe a “dumb” thing to do. no no no, I wasnt trying to insult him at all. I know its an old old pic, I know he got rid of the car. I know it was considered very cool. I had a body kit on my old car too. I know at one point or another a lot of us older guys liked some of the stuff that is now rice. His car in that pic is still a lot better then most of the realy shitty ricey cars I see now a days. It was a very clean car for something that had a body kit and major show mods. I just didnt see why he got mad enough to post a STFU smiley guy when he himself admitted it was rice thats all.
This car would’ve knocked people on their ass in amazement in the late 90s. That was EXACTLY what everyone wanted to do to their cars back then. I didn’t really like the style myself so I left the exterior of my car stock (now known as “JDM,” but it wasn’t then, it was “stock”)… but LJ Garcia’s car was the hottest Civic in the country at one point, and this car would’ve been right up there had I known about it back then. This car was and still is a nice car. :rockon:
i did a paper for my business marketing class on the “Import Subculture”…its interesting research if anyone has the time.
so true about this car and its time. yeah i laugh and call it rice but that’s what it’s conisdered now. so we automatically consider it rice. but go back to the early to mid 90’s and people would praise you for having your car like that. it was just so rare to see a honda dropped low let alone kitted.
so yeah i’ll still call it rice x 100 but that’s now… i’ll give you your props for the old skool. :dozing:

And for those who take pix of thier car half in the gutter to make it appear lower, photoshop (which I cant do), etc, heres one of me rollin down the street, even though you cant tell Im rolling. The car will actually go lower, but I could not drive it any lower than it is in these pix. I rolled it to an autox this weekend like this and it was scrapin everywhere.
