Hereā€™s a non-recent pic of when I first got my teg. I hated how low this thing wasā€¦ going over speed bumps at an angle, getting camber wear, and feeling a rock the size of a pebble was bullshit. lol! (The guy before me went the cheap route and torched the stock springs and let the car slam itself. I bottomed out every time i hit a VERY SMALL pothole.

sorry brotha your car is not slammed by no means.

oh well. i thought it was. til after i posted and started lookin at all the pics. My shit is nowhere near it. I agree with you. But can anyone tell me whatā€™s so great about having a slammed car? unless you got the money for it and dont drive your teg everyday, itā€™s kindaā€¦ dumb. why mess up good tires, axles, bend other shit? XD thats my 2 cents.

I would think it was dumb to if i had a car with heated stock springs to lower it.

What is the average drop in inches, considered slammed? I am just curious of how low these cars are other than pictures. :read:

to clarify that, its the poor manā€™s way of lowering a car. XD but i mean, seriously whats so great about slammed cars? besides the look, there cant be any benefits to it.

u just said it. the look! its sexy no matter what car i drive it must be slammed, the benefit is the awesome look it gives, and the more solid feel u get from a lowered car. I rly hate body role i very much enjoy the feeling of a gocart/tegcart

yeah. i mean. dont get me wrong, Iā€™m not trying to hate on slammed cars, but where I live, thereā€™s too many cracks in the roads. It would just piss me off if I had a slammed car. And plus the teg is the only thing i got soā€¦ no teeter totter-ing on speed bumps for me. lol!

Get a camber kit and that helps. A lot of the cars on here probably have coilovers, which are adjustable.

Well i donā€™t need the camber kit now. my carā€™s at stock height in the front, and stock height of a gsr in the back. XD i was just showing an old pic of when i first got my teg.

Yeah I know, I like what you have done with your car. I was just telling you that a camber kit can fix the tire wear problem you were talking about, but you probably knew that. I think the GSR height is the same?

^That car probably blew the struts from the wrong way it was lowered. When I got mine about 3 years ago the springs were already cut on it. It rode ok so I didnā€™t really mind, I did other things to it first. About a month ago the ride started getting really bad so I figured, tax returns are coming, itā€™s time to upgrade the suspension. I got away with it for almost 3 years but overall itā€™s not advised and it will ride like crap. Also for tire wear make sure your toe is set correctly.

Not really. The GS-R springs are a little shorter in the rear. and they only fit in the rear. The fronts were too long. So I pulled the front stock coilover assembly from another car at pick n pull. My car sits pretty leveled. just i feel the front is way too high.
