the cat doesn’t actually trap gases, but rather separates them. nitrogen and oxygen atoms. the cat is also designed to heat up hydrocarbons.
heat causes fatigue. your exhaust will run cooler without a cat

The black version of that RS*R exhaust was discontinued a while back due to the steel it was made with…
You can still buy the ExMAG, its just been re-designed and is made with a different type of steel.

So you guys would recomend a Vibrant exhaust?
I’ve heard pretty good things about the Vibrant exhaust… But I’ve also heard from a few people that they believe the RS*R to be one of the best sounding exhausts for our car. There are probably better systems out there as far as performance goes (custom made, being the best) but I dont think the differences (3-4hp) are worth the sacrifice of a nice sound.
The RS*R unit is very nice and feels like a solid and quality piece… I can’t say whether or not the Vibrant one is, because i’ve never handled one in person.
Vibrant is a good bit cheaper, unless you buy a used RSR but they seem to be closely related to each other, in terms of sound. At least that’s what I’ve read. Though I’m not saying Vibrant will be quite as good as a RSR, it just seems to be pretty close. Any other experiences with this exhaust?
