A bit torn between 6k and 8k. Would like to see what the g2ic members are rocking at the moment!
8000 FTW. I have them in my integra and LOVE them.
heres my 8k’s
but looks kinda aquamarine in the pic, hahaha
5k ebay vvme kit. going strong for over 1.5 years
had them for about 3 years, 6k
Disregard the shitty point and shoot camera pics.
8k HID:
8k & 3k fogs:
8k & PIAA 1541:
8k & 3k fogs & PIAA 1541 at a distance:
8k & 3k fogs & PIAA 1541 up close parked in garage ( I love the way the PIAA’s throw the greenish hueyed light right at the bottom of my bumper, oh-yeah the swirl in the light output on the ground on the drive side fog is accidental from the laptop lol):
4300k…i just love the pure white beam
retrofit guys! common!!!
12000k
8000k
6000k
overall, i like the 6000k for visibility and output, but i loved the looks and style of the 12000k.

8k is looking really nice.
function > form? :worry: Still torn.
The 6k picture has a really nice hue of blue to it.
Best bet is to see them in person. Unless the picture is taken with a good camera they tend to distort the way it really looks. Mine dont look fuzzy like that in person.
@ n.e.l.a db2 what offset and size are those wheels?
there the same as mine but look like a bigger dish
im gona go for 4k hids
:giggle:
On another note… I had HIDs in my old DB1, I couldn’t stand the glare so I went back to bulbs.
I had F1 4300K HIDs
The glare was too bad, and the headlights themselves sucked.

6000K hids with custom glare guards
this picture dosnt do the light output justice
Looks interesting, how did you make the custom glare guard?
A pepsi can, some JB weld and a little human brain storming there more detailed pics of the steps I went threw in my build thread
thats the kit I bought from you BTW
Using a Pepsi can :giggle:
