Post you 1/4mi times and info

Nows you chance to show off all your hard work. Post your engine, relevent mods, and 1/4mi times you last ran. It would really help people who are looking to do a particular engine swap or mod and want to know what times to expect. Thx.

havnt done 1/4mile times yet… cant wait. heheheheh

2.33 60 ft
9.991 660ft
71.88 mid mph
15.365 1/4 @ 89.82

I have a b16a with headers,gutted cat, and exhaust

14.2 @ 96mph

b16a with aem cai, 64mm tb, ITR intake mani, ported head, slightly milled (.003?), CTR cams, jun cam gears (+4 -5) ITR valves, springs, remapped ecu 8400rpm limit, jdm ITR 4to1 header, race cat, custom midpipe, generic straight thru muffler(obx perhaps), clutchmasters lightened flywheel, exedy organic racing clutch.

I’m sure someone could drive it faster, I have only tried to launch it about 5 times at real track…I did not build it to go in a straight line…

Load on, did you notice a big difference with the lightened flywheel? And did you notice a bigger difference between the ITR intake manifold or the CTR cams???

umm well I bought all the parts for my rebuild before I even ordered my b16a, but I did just recently get the flywheel and clutch… before I had a stock pressure plate a act 6 puck disc and a stock flywheel… so the tranny felt a lot better… however I am already getting annoyed a bit in traffic with the flywheel… its 8.5lbs … I think its a bit too light for the street.

The other question about the CTR cams and ITR intake…
are you talking abouta stock engine? I don’t think a ITR intake mani would do much… the CTR cams would tho… maybe without adjustable cams gears 4-6whp? The question is kinda silly

16.9@81 bone stock yesterday

Give me time - I’ll get it in the 14’s…

I don’t think it’s silly at all I’ve been debating between all three mods. I have a B16 with I/H/E, cam gears, pulleys, chipped ecu, fpr, p and p, ignition, clutchmasters, and a 75 shot of nitrous. I’ve heard you can get gains of about 7 or 8 horsepower from an ITR IM and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than CTR cams so I’m debating between the two. My clutch is going to go out pretty soon so I was looking to lighten the flywheel in the process.

The Itr intake mani feels good from about 6500 up. below that it is a little weaker… I tuned my engine for a bit more midrange to compensate, my peak hp is at like 8200, the CTR cams would be really nice to have… I used to have ITR cams and these CTR cams are definatly stronger

I got a b16a, LSD, Gutted cat, DC SS 4-1, AEM Short Ram Intake, Custom Exhaust, NGK Iridium IX Plugs, Magnecore plug wires. I got my interior stripped from the front seats back, no carpet or sound insulation anywhere in the car, bottom half of firewall removed, Rear windshield wiper removed. The cruise control and power steering are next on the list. I would remove A/C but its damn how in florida. Also, I want CTR cams, ITR valvetrain, a Skunk2 IM, and an AEM CAI but I might decide to do Solo and have to see what exactly is legal. Don’t even know if my car is legal with LSD and stuff, might get placed in a really unfair class. lol I’ll be sure to go to the track when I can. I’ll also get some dyno tuning in after some more mods.

14.6@97 on stock tires with no traction through 4th. Spun a rod bearing on my final pass so I didn’t get to try my slicks. It’s O.K. something better in the works now.

B18a
USDM ITR pistons
p72 head with stock internals
skunk2 intake manifold
jdm B16 tranny

Hey blickstick, what exactly is a p72 head??? I know the B18a head is a P30 correct?? If I’m wrong please tell me. But anyways what engine does the p72 head come off of???

p72 is a GS-R head. But I believe the B18 head is a pr4.

It’s a time slip like this that makes me wanna keep my b18 in my 90 RS, it’s only got 113k miles on it, and instead of spendin about $2000 for a b16 with LSD to be shipped and such i’d take that money and build up the b18. Arghhhh, but the word VTEC just sounds so much cooler under the engine :).

That 14.6 was an LS/Vtec
