Hey everyone I’ve been working with a rep for a performance parts supplier and I have a potential group buy to work with.
Basically they are selling the Quaife LSD (Limited Slip Differential) for about $1000. I’ve talked to him and have negotiated a 5 person minimum group buy from him in the next 1 to 2 months. At this point it is still speculative and I am trying to gauge who all would be interested in buying one. Like I said it will be in the next 1-2 months. The price will be below $900 a piece (no actual number yet as he’s waiting for the supplier to get more in stock as they only have 3). I want to work something out with him where if we order 5-9 we get them for around $850-$875 and 10+ <$800. I will continue working with him and try to get some actual numbers.
So if you’re interested and will be for sure able to get the money within the next couple months please reply to the thread. Once I have actual numbers I want to work something out with him for a specific date and a small “layaway” type non-refundable payment that will secure your interest.
Anyone whos organized a group-buy before that has pointers for me let me know.
Not to down play the Quaife, as I have one and love it. However, I think it important to say there is a cheaper “QUALITY” alternative to a Quaife LSD. I think you will find nothing but good things about the MFactory LSD. I just installed one into a customer’s car and I was quite impressed with the quality of the unit. They retail for about $650.
Lol, I actually said something to him about that earlier tonight
Troy-I think you should work on a group buy for the quick ratio steering kits instead . Kingmotorsports is where I saw it for $239 (I knew it was somewhere)http://www.kingmotorsports.com/category.aspx?cat=142#Product_1348. So if we could get it around the $200 mark, that would be beyond sick! And I know you’d for sure be able to drum up enough interest for those

I would be very interested in this. Then the miata peeps would be jealous of my go cart steering.
