Power Door Locks

I bought a power door lock kit from ebay it came with the 2 aculators, blue & green wire, and relay. i opened up my door panel and i found that i have power door locks already installed but they were disconnected, but i am missing a relay or cannot find it. I am a bit confused on how to connect the aculators to the relay then where from the relay or what do i connect to the alarm and where? please help

Scroll down to Actuators / Reverse Polarity…

hmm ok i really have no clue what that means? the really i was given has a blue & green wire, then a purple one with a fuse. then a blue, red & green one that are connected to a pin. and then a white and brown wire. have no idea where to connect these to?

Sounds like a door lock relay “pack”, there are actually two relays in the “pack”.

What is the make and model of the relay pack?
Did it not come with a wiring diagram?
Can you post a pix of it?

It will be just like the relays I linked, but in one “box” and with wires…

It is a good bet the blue, red and green are meant to be plugged into an alarm, the purple w/fuse will go to a 12V+ constant, [hot at all times], leaving you with the blue and green and the white and brown…

http://alarmtek.tripod.com/NEWDLR.gif “adding a door lock actuator” the 3 missing wires will be the green, red and blue, if the “pin” will not fit into your alarms door lock output you will have to hard wire the relay pack, red goes to 12V+, constant, [hot at all times] the green and blue go to alarms door lock outputs, colors should match. 94

OK so i wrote that post in the morning in a hury but from this wiring diagram i figured that the blue connects to the blue and green to the green i put the purple on the kick panel and connected the three pin wire to my alarm, it fits. then i had the brown and white wire which i thought are gonna be grounded? not sure correct me if i am wrong. The relays are a two pack and the model i think is CS-6600DLM here are some pics

Sounds right to me.

It looks like two standard SPDT automotive relays, can you post a pix of the other end, wired side? 94

i actually got it to work for me. what you said in your previous post helped so now my locks are working, thanks

I just found out that my passenger side door was replaced by an LS or non PDL door :bang:

I have the switch in the door panel and pulled the latch off a GS (that had PDL) all I need is to wire it up. Is the OEM actuater built into the latch, or is it a seperate part (and I have to run back to the JY)? hows it wire up?

On another note, my other i here a click and and see that it trys to move the lock mechanism but it seems weak. Should I replace something or try lubing/cleaning?
