power loss, rough idle/stalls out...?

Car is 91 acura integra with a b16a1 swap.

Today car stalled out on me while coming to a stop in parking lot. So I started it up n ran rough but continued to drive it home it felt like something was clogged it felt like it didn’t want to drive. Got home n it stalled out.

Car starts for a min or so idles rough n quits.
When you push gas a little its very hesitant n doesn’t want to open up.

I have an idea where to start, but would like feedback from members who have a better understanding of cars then me and have had experience with this problem.

start by checking for codes. no need to jump the service connector. just pull up the pass. side carpet in the footwell. the ecm resides undr the carpet. on the ecm is an led. with the key on, the led will flash the code(s), if there is any.
if no codes, i wold definitely start by HEI testing the ignition system. being a honda, there’s a fair chance the culprit lies there

From when you got back home and tried starting it and died, sounds to me like a typical main fuel relay issue.

It’s not the main relay I fixed that issue at the end of summer with a new oem part. I really think it’s a clogged cat… I’m going to go out n start it oday and see if I can see if anything comes out of the exhaust (cold out today so should be able to see) if that’s not it… back to the drawing board

could be a failing distributor or more to the point the coil, could be o2 sensor. check for codes like Welfare said

Any idea how old the cap and rotor are?

Problem solved. Ended up being my ECU needing to be replaced.

you didn’t fry the injector drivers, did you?

No the ecu was covered in salt/rust/corrosion. Surprised car still ran.
