Power window relay location

I have a bad p/w relay. Ordered one but idk where it goes. FCM any idea where it’s at ? Pics or diagrams would be awesome !

Pretty sure it is plugged into top of under dash fuse box. 94

mmk ill look for it. cause the fuse box panel cover with the little diagram doesnt have p/w. i get my relay monday and i’ll check back with you to let you know if i find the spot or not  tnx fcm

there’s 2 relays there. both 12v. i believe one is for ‘front’ and one is for ‘rear’ windows? that’s what me and a mechanic at the dealership are guessing. but since our rear windows are stationary is it just like a spare?

anyways, i tried the new relay on both spots, and my windows still won’t roll down. dealership guy said possibly a bad master switch. don’t think it’s the motor(s) cause they went out at the same time. what other possible problems can there be now that my relay/fuses are good?

Sounds like it’s time to pull out the VOM and check voltages

You will need a multimeter or a 12V test light.

Start by checking for voltage at the fuses, 2, [pass window] 7, [drivers window] and fuse 16, [relay control fuse] all are 20A and in the under dash fuse box.
BTW there is only one power window relay, [2door or 4door].

Turn the ign. to run, or start the car and test for power at the above fuses, test at both test tips on the fuse.

You should also be able to feel the relay “click” on when you turn on the ign. 94

Alright I will test those out asap.
But above my fuses there’s 2 relays. both 12v. Would you know which side is the 2door? One relay is on the left, One is on the right.
and what do you mean by feeling the fuse click ?

vom?

Sorry my mistake, [now edited] I meant to say you can feel the relay click. DOH!. 94

hmm well i got a multimeter and tested 2,7 on my fuse panel.
also tested both spots for where the relay can go… and tried putting the relay on both since im not sure which one is for 2 door
but yeah… all had 12v.

windows still not moving…

If fuses 2 and 7 have power there is nothing wrong with the relay.

Yo will need to pull the main window switch, [drivers door] and test for power there, when ign. switch is on to run or engine running the white/yellow and blue/black leads will, [should] have power.

White/yellow is drivers window power, fuse 7 and blue/black is pass. window, fuse 2. 94

okay i probably won’t have to check this til next weekend, but ill test the main switch and get back at you. and whats the next culprit if theres power on the main window switch?
thnx fcm

The switch itself, or connections.94
