so the other day my passenger side power window stopped working. I was wondering how I can check to see exactly what the problem is? I know its not the fuse. how do I know if its the switch, the motor, or just bad wiring?
just curious… but did you accidentally hit the switch on the driver side just above the window controls? I think it is call “Main Switch” it is at the top and about 3" long rocker type. If you accidentally flip that sucker it will lock out the pasenger window.
if it isn’t the switch I’d guuess it is the regulator.
This exact same thing happened to me today too! Good advice djzachtyler. I checked the rocker button and it was in the off position. It started working again but the window is struggling to go up so it looks like I’ll have to replace the regulator anyway. OP good luck on yours.
sweet glad it worked out for ya bud… That damn switch had me flipping out for a good hour in the parking lot at work one day…

You can also use a 12V test light, connect the test light ground clip to one of the leads in the motor plug and the test light probe to the other lead in the plug, turn the ign. on and rock the window switch for uo and down, the test light should light up when switch is rocked for up and down, if not, the switch or wiring is the problem, if both leads test as grounds [when switch is not rocked] and test light does not light up in both directions, the switch is the problem. 94
