cant be that bad, if everything is working properly. The B20 is not a crappy ass engine, plus it’s not forced to pull that much weight. Should be similar to stock, I think.

i just got my b20 running tonight, ill let you know in a week what it is
get this our last trip through LA and over the grapevine into sac we got 330 on 10. something gallons which equalled 29.7 miles to the gallon. btw we have the head milled, intake cam advanced, with I,H,E and the FPR is at 52psi on stock wheels.

There’s really not much reason it would be different than an LS motor. I could see it being slightly less because it’s bigger but 200 miles per tank is almost half the MPG you should be getting.
B16 gets better fuel economy…
used to get a lil under 300 on my stock b17. Now that she has some bolt on’s she runs richer then a motha’. I gotta keep it under 5700rpm or i can whatch the gas gauge needle go down to empty. :rant:
I know I get crappy milage. I have a long ass thread on this. I have all matinance, o2 sensor, ect done, alignment is perfect, I cant figure it out.
my 2.2L gets about 35-37 mpg.
it’s an ecotec tho.

you’re right, my daily driver is so much shittier than yours. that’s why it gets better mileage, has zero problems, and i don’t have to pay shit for it for the next 70k miles. :roll:
