stepdad’s car… but I “leased” it from him for a while.
No new car yet… waiting for a deal on an RX-7…
To have an auto that chirps 3rd is freakin sweet.

Okay so back on track…
Just recently swapped a B20 (USDM) into my integra, and I get roughly the same gas mileage I did before, if not better. I still need to figure a way to put the low rise B20 Intake Manifold on thou…still looking for a fuel rail and B20 TB. So my mileage is around 450+km to a tank with good driving…and yes I am a Canadian hence the large number. I could benefit from a new O2 sensor thou, as that number is not the best.
a new bosch or something. Its obd0.
Ben
i get shitty gas milage/kms on my b20. about 225 mpg or 360km on a tank. Then again, i do all stop and go traffic, my exhaust is a a huge problem and im running a b20 program. And i thought i was the only one with bad gas milage?
heh, well, now that I look at my milage, I get about 275 a tank and according to Car and Drivers 1989 article on the integra, the got 23 mpg city and 27mpg highway. I only do like 10 gallons in my 90 spec 11.21gal tank, and I get about adv, over advredge. just letting ya know.
90s had a smaller gas tank? I nevr knew that.
any info on this?

(click on year, then on “engines” for that year)
as far as I know… all year integras have had 13.2 gallon gas tanks…
I wouldnt trust that msn stuff, people have found wrong stuff on it before and posted it up on here questioning it…turned out to be wrong…
I would think an owner of a 90 would notice when filling up that there missing a few gallons of capacity lol.
Anyways about the thread itself, I get 25-27 depending on the angle of my foot lol.
I own a 1990.
edit: my 1990 owners manual says 13.2
Yeah, thats what I thought, stupid MSN…thats at least the 3rd time I have seen somthing that was wrong on there site involving specs…
ummm… they’re right as far as I’m concerned… theirs says 13.20
the tank really is 13.2gallons??? that would mean that it is 49.967 litres. that puzzles me because i usually fill up at empty and it takes 36-38 litres (10 gallons). the next question is then, how much gas is left from the time the first “gas light” appears?
—If I usually put about 10 gallons, or (37.85 litres), at city driving when new, i should therefore get 230 miles or 368 kms. I guess im about right on mpg, hmmmmmmmmm…
My owners manuel states 13.2 gallons too. Why does car and briver state 11.21? I guess, maybe they ran it down and then filled it up.
You should have ~7-8 Liters left in the tank when the light comes on, though it varies car to car. It is a 50 liter tank, 13.2 is our US rounding.
:hmm:
if you are looking at this page from Car and Driver, it says capacity is 13.2.
Nevermind, I made a mistake. Sorry.
:werd: the reserve is around 2 gallons
I have a B20Z2 w/ a p8r head and a 9lb clutch on a LS tranny. Everything else is factory, besides the K&N drop in. I get about 33 mpg on rims and up to 39 on steelies.
I have been on G2IC for a couple of years now and I am curious as to why people prefer to swap a b20 series in their integra vs a b18 series or b16 series. I know that the b20 series creates more torque but the hp is less than the b18/b16 series and the mpg is less. Just curious to hear what the benefits are or why there is a preference.
