so i drive by a prelude everyday that has a rear spoiler just like ours but its a 2-point wing not 3-point like our stock ones, and it has the led bar. i know i have seen pictures of another prelude wing (the low profile, really fat one that kinda lays on the hatch) that seemed to fit pretty well, has anyone seen, or know a friend with a prelude with this wing that could check for fit?
its not this excact car but im almost positive its the same model as the one i drive by
ok go up to the car and take measurments and check with your car.
and IMO its gonna look horrible, look at all the engineering that when into that wing to get it to flow with the prelude body lines, its gonna look like ASS.
but hey its your car im just trying to save you time and money.
i really dont want to throw out the wrong vibe or some shit for running up and measuring his spoiler
im looking for a picture of an integra from the rear just like this so i can compare lines, i agree that the spoiler fits perfectly with the lines of the prelude but i think our cars have a fairly similar profile, maybe i’ll go to the junkyard and look around
the prelude is angled in wayyy more then the tegs are, we have more of a rounded shape then the preludes do.
have you ever seen anyone cut out the third leg of our spoilers? thats basically what i want but i dont even know if that is possible structurally
yep people have done it before try searching theres a couple pics on the forum
edit:uploaded a pic i had on my computer. if i was to keep my wing its definitely the only way id put it
hrmm, that looks pretty good actually, i should grab a spare one from a junkyard and see how well i can pull of shaving the middle riser
There was a picture around here with a wing like that, but the hieght of it was much shorter. I couldnt find a picture of it but if anyone has it can you guys post it up?
or you can just get the spoiler from a 92-93 GSR…
