I bought a new switch for the brake pedlal …put it on and it still remains on Can it be a short? It started happening two days ago … Any suggestions let me know
Well I use to have the same problem but my would come on when I was asleep and drain my battery lol. But when I fixed it it was a switch behind the brake pedal that would not make contact with the pedal itself so it was never making contact to switch off. All I did was put a lil plastic plug in the hole of the brake pedal and when I would release the pedal it would push in the button that controls the brake lights. Not sure if you know what im talking about but let me know if it is the problem
Iight ima if adjusting the switch might work or the box in the trunk
Most common problem when brake lights stay on is the brake light switch pin stop is missing, the stock one, [pin stop] is plastic and gets brittal over time and breaks and falls out leaving a hole where the switch pin goes through, so brake lights stay on. 94
