Hey guys, I noticed that when I turn the key to start my integ and once its started it starts to rattle. The Steering wheel rattles and seats rattle and basically alot of the front of the car rattles. Once I am driving though like when I step on the gas the rattling stops and I fell no rattle what so ever. When I stop at a light or anything liek that the rattling continues. Its getting really annoying. Any ideas on how to fix this or what could be the problem? Thanks guys
i have the same problem…so damn annoying. try changing the idling speed. but that didn’t make a huge difference for me. let me know if you find anything…
It really is annoying. I tried to find out exactly where the source of the rattling is coming from but I can feel it everywhere so I cant really tell we both need some help.

Your motor mounts are shot, in particular the rear one.
That would be my answer too. If you inspect your mounts they are probably shot. Also, you can pop your hood and watch the engine to see if you have excessive shaking when you start it up. To get back your smooth idle you should replace all of your mounts, but it is most likely the rear one like stateofbean said.

how can you tell visually that ure motor mounts are shot?..wil i be able to see a crack somewhere?..or wut are things i should look for? :hmm:
Pretty much. Look at them with a flashlight (or take a pic for us) and see if there are any tears in the rubber on the mount. Also if the bolt doesn’t look like it is in the center any more, or like I said, start the engine and let it idle… then rev it a bit. If there is excessive movement you can bet the mounts are shot.
motor mounts for sure, i had this problem and after replacing them its gone 
it’s not motor mounts!!! when i changed my engine i put 4 new mounts. they’re acura brands. it still rattles.
no prob man, it’s already been fixed. but for the future - 9-300-4469 (you figure out the rest of the area code, it’s not 972

mine does the same thing everytime i start the engine my entire interior vibrates a lot But when i put on reverse and have my foot on the brake and slightly step on the gas the vibration stops even if i start the engine again the vibration is gone,anybody experience this? been checking it to see what is the problem and later i found out that my motor mounts are worn out all of them are bad and need a replacement specially my rear i noticed some broken pieces underneath it and that makes me convince to replace all motor mounts i have not change mine yet coz i been reading and searchin on how to do it properly .i dont want to start doin it unless i know what im doin before buying the parts
