Proclutch clutches

Just wanted to give an update on my Proclutch stage 3 clutch that I’ve had on my YS-1 since febuary 2005. this clutch loves abuse and hasnt given me any trouble. It still get’s a bit chattery because it’s a dual friction 6-puck clutch, but the plus to all this, is that the Pressure plate is driver freindly; meaning your girfriend can drive this and not have to put alot of effort into pushing the pedal down. I can say that I am pushing 12 PSI and pushing out around 270whp and this clutch has been holding up to everything that I throw at it. I am currently looking to buy there stage 4/5 pressure plate and pushing more from my set-up. any others with any luck with these besides me?

Pros

  • Strong clutch
  • soft pedal( you won’t have to launch yourself in the seat to push the pedal down).
  • priced cheap. there are some others in this price range but can’t vouch for there quality.
  • comes with everything including alignment tool and new pilot bearing

Cons:

  • chattering, I guess you get used to this if it’s dual friction??

i just replaced my stage 5 pressure plate and 4 puck with an exedy and couldnt be happier, although im not putting down near your numbers.

once it was all disassembled i found a completelly worn clutch, rivets eat my flywheel, its not only 7lbs, lol.

clutch held up fine, grabbed hard, very high pedal pressure with the stage 5 PP, but daily driveable if you know how to rev match.
