by the picture i figured they would be pretty damn bright. but they arent as i thought.
overall i like hte looks, not too blue or anything, but still “pretty”.
the light output is ok. no better than stock really. but one thing i noticed,(which i will add pics of tonight) is that the lowbeams project out further than the highs.
overall, not bad and good looking, but if your wanting hte best light output possible, thse arent for you.

no halogen is ever really worth it if it’s the same wattage. there are really no miracles. that infrared concept seemed like it would help, but it never really made it to mass market.
so my point, unless you’re willing to change technologies (hid retro baby) or increase wattage (with proper relay and not melting housing), sticking with standard bulbs that last (sylvania/philips) is your best bet over any blingy ones.
I’ve had these since Feb. and I agree with the op. I do wish they were a bit brighter as some cars behind me seem to cast a shadow of my car in front of me with my lights on. I think that my yellow Luminics are brighter than these. Also, the high beams seem to be no brighter than the lows.
i just got mine in. the beam isn’t as intense but there seems to be more of it. get to a DARK area and turn them on. your low beams are distinctly different from the highs and there is a ton of light. re-aim your headlights to point straight out and compare the two bulbs. you’ll see what i mean. i left one oem bulb in and one new password bulb in and went driving. there is a difference. i like my pwjdm ones.
also i find hte highes ot be brighter, but they barely project half as far as the lows(which arent bright enough to see way out), therefor with the highs your actually losing vision cuz its not lighting as far out.
LOL, I dont have these bulbs, but I noticed that my highs are dim as shit too.
I thought that maybe I had them wired up wrong too, but like USMC_DA9 said, I really dont remember them doing this with my stock bulbs.
I’ll just pop back in my stock ones and check again.
It’s sucks, because I have this little h4 glow in the dark ring around them, and it’s a pain when it slips into the housing.
hey man i wasn’t trying to insult you sorry bout that. i switched the wiring around and i got the same result just flipped. take a long mirror and hold it away from the car about 4 feet and turn on the bulbs. if you switch between high and low you can tell the bulb gets brighter. i fiddled with the aim too, and it makes a huge difference in how the light looks on the road. i’ll try to get pics up.
