So after a couple of months trying to build off of synsei’s old right, i’ve decided that i shant try any longer and transplant his beauitful motor into my 93 ls. obviously I will also transplant all of his goodies into my ride (i.e. etd traction bar and skunk2 front camber.) i’ve also just recently acquired a set of koni yellows to go along with the gc sleeves craig gifted me.
mods in present at the moment:

koni gc suspension
skunk2 front camber
blox lca
b&m short shifter
mods of the future after surgery:
paint job. no clue on the color
jdp carbon lip
a nice set of rims.

I dont know what the hell it is but your post makes me wana say…Thou shall post pics of thy car. Shant you need help we shall assist to the best of thy knowledge. Thy gifted Koni’s makes me jealous to whom all can agree!

Still haven’t figured out how to post pictures. Can someone help me out? I plan on installing the koni/gc onto the car today. That’s about all I can do given the time frame. I have pictures, just can’t post them.

i bought the car for the car itself and was planning to put parts from my old one into his. but the electrical issue is overwhelming. somewhere between the jumper harnness and the injectors itself. i have pulse and all. but for some reason the injectors just won’t open. and there’s no plug for the tps. which can be a major issue. and cutting into the harness itself might not be too smart.
therefore i have contemplating on swapping the motor and all its glory (and goodies) into my 93, which is already obd1 and have no electrical problem. i think craig would agree that i’m saving his centerpiece for all the right reasons. there was no body work done except for the traction bar, which i’ll be using, and a painted engine bay.
hooked up the front koni’s and gc. looking pretty good. won’t be back on it until thursday.

I believe I’ve found the culprit. Please skip to second paragraph if you do not want to read through my narration… Can anyone tell me if this is logical to think so. I called my friend over to check out syn’s ride before the go ahead on the swAp. Judy on case it’s just that simple. He went over every ground wire and every fuse. We checked spark once more. And we performed the carb cleaner start since I had it handy at my house. After almost giving up. He pointed out to me that the tps was missing. Dun dun dunn. The map is present. But no tps. So I did a few nights worth of research on the function of the tps and it’s possibility of causing a no start. However, I did notice that there wasn’t a plug present for me to plug the tps if it was even present. That’s why I almost bought a hoist to begin the swap. I got bored one night so I looked up wiring diagrams for the injectors. Then I decided to look at the wires for tps. And guess what I pondered upon…
Map sensor and tps have the same plug. Anyway. Craig had no tps but used its plug on the map, which is on the tb unlike the ls map, which is on the firewall.
So can anyone tell me if this incidental mistake cause a no start? I read that some have unplugged one or the other for better idle. However, I googled and found that there’s a possibility that car won’t start with either one bad, or even both unplugged. I can’t remove my tps from my old ride to put in syn’s. Im bidding on a blox tps and hopefully win it so I can have it for this weekend. Thanks in advance.
