My Question is would 310cc injectors be to much for my setup. And If it is a bit much couldn’t I just adjust regulator and lower pressure or would this not a good idea.I will be upgrading my cams in the spring but old injector are shot.
B17 motor stock internals
Cold air intake
4to1 header toTest pipe to full catback 2 1/4
aebs manifold and 74mm tapered to 69mm throttlebody
i don’t think your motor is that high performance to really need 310 injectors. Think about it, you’ll have to be running a tuned ecu or piggyback from then on if you dedcide to go for a non-needed injector upgrade.
I would roll with stock, it’s like like you are running a 75 shot every day or boost. Stock injectors are cheap, I have a set of OBD0 & OBD1 from integras in boxes, post it up in the WTB section and I’m sure you’ll get responses.
id start saving money to rebuild the motor using a light crank pully, ive seen personally bearing get eatin with these because it doesnt absorbe the vibration. even if you have the rotating assy balanced there still very hard on the bearing
^only if the crank pulley doesnt have a harmonic balancer to absorb the vibration which it probably doesnt so yeah… Thats why i got the ITR pulley 6lbs lighter than the LS but 4lbs heavier than the CTR but its got the harmonic balancer which is a plus
You can send your stock injectors out to RC Engineering for cleaning and balancing though. $25 per injector. Like everyone else said, no need to use larger injectors.
i have a b16 type r head on a jdm b16a bottom, i still have stock LS injectors obd0, i want to upgrade i was wondering whats the diffirence in size from LS injectors and gsr b17 injectors and does anyone know the size of LS injectors. I feel like im not pushing enough fuel with the injectors i have now, I have a tuned ecu but stock fuel everything from an LS engine.
