question for those who removed the PS pump.

where do the 3 tubes/pipes goto? their was 4 but one went to the PS pump and i would like to know where the other 3 goto.can i remove them w/o it affecting something?

-speed senser
-Pump
-Resevoir
-Fluid cooler
(in no particular order)
The 14mm one goes to the pump. Plug it, remove the pump and resevoir. Then connect the hose that returns from the cooler the the hose that once connected the resevoir to the steering box.

so completely removing the PS pump and other components involved with the PS does not cause any damage over time?

Nope. Ugly '92 LS, but it can take some poorly tweaked/driven GSRs on the track. That silver thing in the backgound is a GSR I passed a lap earlier.
