question on paint prep work

I just have a few questions about prepping my car for paint. A local company is going to paint my car on a sponsorship contract deal and they asked me to prep it. here are the few questions I have:

How do I remove the side moldings?

They want me to sand the car down but not to metal preferably to the oem primer level, what type of products and tools should be achieved to do so?

How do I remove window moldings , wheel well moldings and etc.

How do i remove the trunk lock , door handles and locks?

What color is your car now and what color is it goin to be painted. If there are no dents and your keeping it the stock color then all you would have to do is red scotchbrite the edges and places where a DA(dual action) sander cant get and then DA the whole car with 400. As for the locks and handles for the doors you take the inner door panel off and the locks and handles will unbolt, the same goes for the rear lock. Wheel well moldings should just pull off and the window moldings are held in with either metal or plastic clips, cant remember. For the side moldings there is a 10mm nut where the door closes to the car and the clips can be undone from the inside with the door panel off, the front clip by the fenders slides out so you have to undo the rest of the clips and slide that out of the hole. Hope that helps and good luck.

Thanks for alll the info! its going to be black, its currently artic white z
