Ok… After searching for a bit I found that some of you have used surfboard resin for filling and just any regular primer on your bumpers. So basically im still confused… Im going to be sanding and primering my front and rear bumpers to get ready to paint maybe next spring… my questions are:
-
How would I go about filling in the little nicks in the moldings on the bumpers? Cat hair fiberglass or??
-
After all the filling and sanding is done, what is the best primer to use for the bumpers for flex and all that jazz? I read that any primer should be good since they all have polyurathane and flex additives in them, but I want a good recommendation. Anyone?
My plans are this; get the body work on the bumpers done, put them on the car for the winter (not worried if they get a little messed up) and start the rest of the cars body work sometime in the future. I just want to get the bumpers primed and on the car asap b/c my current ones are a bit tweeked. Any advice is helpful! Thanks!
