i plan on swapping my engine in about 2 weeks, i dont know whats wrong with it, theirs alot of fuel smell coming out the back, alot of smok it looks white, and after reving past 4 inside the car u can smell a burning smell… can anyone help me out? think the engine will last another 2 weeks? if i dont beat on it??
well, sounds like 2 problems. If you’re smelling excess fuel then it seems to me that you’re running too rich. And if the smoke is white then that means you’re getting water/coolant in the cylinders, which points to it being a head gasket.
It may or may not last, it really depends on whats wrong with the motor and how bad it is. I wouldn’t worry though, you’re doing a swap soon.
