quick question about the OEM headlights

what is the light that is circle in yellow supposed to be? i think the bulbs are out, cause they dont do anything…[/IMG]

Front side markers, they should flash on for signal and hazard lights, come on solid with park/head lights and flash off for signal and hazard lights if park/head lights are on, they are controled by the ICU.94

do you know what type bulb they take?

Take the lens off and check… Theres a screw on the top and just pull the lens forward.

I think it’s 194NA (Your choice for clear or amber [NA means amber])

While ur at it check for cracks. When i bought mine and were dead with a huge crack in the lense(case) i gorrila glued it back together. Mite cause problems later. Were in the rainy state of Washington so u get it…

lol, yeah i know what you mean, thanks for the tip

LOL as I went through this agian I didnt say want i wanted to. I didnt glue the lense itself but the outer edge of it were it connects to the plastic that doesnt show (plastic that faces the headlight unit or inner housing for the bulb). Hope that makes sense.

oh yeah it makes sense, i already did it with some super glue, thanks

they are actually 168 bulbs. i just replace mine the other day. there are 2 bulbs in each corner light. be careful when taking off the lights there are little plastic tabs that hold them in. you will need to pull the lights straight forward. towards the front. if you pull to the side you will break the tabs. also the wires to the connectors are pretty short so dont rip too hard.

i would recommend getting the multi LED 168 bulbs for as the standard bulbs look dim compared to the headlights and fogs.
