If my fuel pump or relay died while cruising, would my rpm’s fall to zero? Keep in mind the wheels are turning the engine, so it would have to be a false report of zero RPM… like when your coil goes out while driving.
The relay I’m not sure about, but if the fuel pump died? yes, your engine would stop. But of course that isn’t the ONLY reason your engine would stop.
usually when something in the ignition circuit dies while driving it feels like someone reached over and turned the key off and when something in the fuel system dies it feels like your running out of gas…
