If you can buy it in a store (altezzas) then it isn’t unique. If you make your own widebody kit, that is unique. Body mods can be unique and still be very ugly. I think this taillight conversion looks decent, but there are some body mods that are just hideous.
I have to give you that one, but you know what I meant? I was saying… why drive a Clone??? and me too I love :inlove: that Rear on that car, its cool coz my older Brother has a R32 Skilyne here in OZ and im always telling him not to be surprised if his tail lights go missing :bored:
I agree, but that car is pretty hot…oh and using the word Uber is even more :gay: than tail conversions
Can someone explain “Uber gay” what is this uber?
i believe it means super in german
hey just thought id throw in my two cents i used to own the red widebody teg with the tailights… they looked a lot different in person they seemed to flow pretty well and looked very nice at night. The perivous owner before me jamie long that used to be a memeber on here a while ago and i have both owned it… me being the one in the pictures and the one that sold it on ebay.
The widebody kit really made the r32s fit right without it i dont think it would have worked to well. I also think the difference between a Widebody kit vs. fender flares should be noted i really dont consider fender flares a widebody but thats just my opion if you have any questions ill do my best to answer them for you… and as far as uber goes… no comment to each his own

help me out
I built that car and if I remember correctly the guy I sold it to was Jamie Long. I busted my butt on that car and did all the custom autobody and paint in three weeks. I even made the feels fenders first for the stock taillights then made molds than broke off the heavy prototyped smoothed in fenders and smoothed in the final production fenders then did the taillight conversion. I might still have the molds if anyone wants to buy parts out of them or even purchase them to make their own parts. They were never mass produced, I made one extra set and sold them in San Diego and thats about it. We might of made two sets actually, this was through Streetweapon Composites if anyone remembers that company. The molds are for all 4 feels fenders for a 90-93 integra. The VIS quest fenders or whatever they call them are just universal box flares obviously from the original Feels civic fenders.
Anyway, i’m on here because I’m looking for the car. If your the owner call me 267-253-2698.
Thanks!
serch terms: kandy wide body widebody red integra skyline taillights tail lights r32 feels fenders quest
none of the pics work for me and i wanna see this shit.
BUMP help the man out.
BTW: My boys calling you next week about the S13 fenders.
We can do tailights conversions … me and gary do some crazy custom work.
I would take everything off of the back end and get some mild steel sheet metal, cut templates and tack weld them into the place of the oem tailights, grind down the bevel on the welds then body fill the beotch, enter sanding here, many hours should devoted to sanding you want that perfect skin layer of filler after you are done sanding. After that start measuring out the area where the new tailights will sit.Best way to do that is to make a stencil… place poster bord you know the big ass sheets of hard paper at the craft stores… cut a template that covers the tailight then put it to the car tape it on to get an idea of where it will sit. Take measurements and then mark it on the car. Then measure the back side of the tailight, measure from the edge of the tailight to where the tailight protrudes through the chassis. That way you are only allowing the part of the tailight through the car that needs to go through and nothing extra. Now some people do this differently but me I would cut the holes then place the tailight in the hole to fit it… but tosecure it to the car I would weld a small cage on the inside of the car that will allow you to bolt the tailights in place, much like the rear cage on the oem integra tailights. Then lay your mule on it, that is a special tool we use. Custom One of a Kind. But it gets the job done. Anyways that is how I would go about doing it… If you wanted to bring it down here one weekend… like when you bring that bumper down we could do it then. LOL HA
hey
hey havnt been on here in a long time. just saw the orginal builder post about the old widebody candy g2. I owned it after jamie long and sold it to another kid somwhere in warronton virgina. He didnt know much about the car and unfortenuly neither did i when i first got it. After a lot of learning experince with the turbo having time after time problems i ended up selling it. Well ive put some money to the side and I think its time to build another g2. I planed on going widebody again but going with a new cleaner bodykit. I was also thinking about doing the r32 tails again because the car looked beauitul at night when them on and you did a really good job molding. I would like to purchase the molds if you are still intrested in selling them and work with you on a few problems i noticed overall with the kit.
First i had one hella of a problem with camber. I could not set the camber right due to the fact that the tire would be rubbing into the fender well. Just little stuff to chat with you about.
I was pretty illiterate and not very smart when owning the car but four cars later and a lot more reading and knowledge i think its time to build somthing crazy again

Just won tail lights… Ready to throw these in Anyone else done this recently?
no dont do it
he’s allowed to be different. i’ve seen the R32’s on a DA before, they don’t look THAT bad. if you’re going to do a body kit and all that, might as well do some real customization to go along with it. it might not be everyone’s “cup of tea” so to speak, but its his car and money, he can do what he wishes with both. would i do it on MINE? definately not. but i won’t discourage someone from doing something that they feel will make them like their car a little more.
Well, i’m gonna do em’ i like the way the tails look on the rear of the car. Plus i’m trying to 1-up these guys that run altezzas. I’m not afriad to fabricate or play with some bondo.
This car was stolen 9 months ago… It took me this long to accuire the pieces I needed to replace, build a motor and get everything better or back to the way it was.
If we were all at a G2 meet and we were all parked in a line… don’t tell me the R32 tails would not stand out just a little bit…
^^^what he said…
but heres my question…WHY?..
if your reaaly serious about this converstion do supra tails…i think that would look better than the R32’s…
i wasn’t knocking him about it or anything, but you are right it is his car so do what you feel.
good luck on it man
^
its all good no hate here.
i’m gonna start this sometime over the weekend just got my lights… a lot of welding and cutting… i’ll post up when i have something to show.
Searching for pictures of this conversion… does anyone have any? I know there was a few floating around. but it has since disappeared.
thanks!
