Raceland Coilovers

Any DA/DB running these coilovers? No DA/DB applications yet but they do have them for the EG/DC (sold out now though). The price is really tempting and the Vdub/D.series guys are raving about them…

Well they have one for the EG/DC applications… just order those and use the EG/DC front forks and you’re good to go.

The spring rates for those are fairly low though… in the 100-200 range so I’m guessing they are only good for daily driving… either ways, a lot of other car forums are giving positive reviews about these…

210$ am i reading that right?

yes you are

I don’t see how these can be good for the price. Just doesn’t make LOGICAL sense in terms of production and cost and profit to the company.

Maybe an introductory price? When it first came out… the Vdub guys were buying it like crazy and sold out then when they had some more… the price went up for them… I don’t know.

Just wanted first hand experience from G2IC’ers…

What’s wrong with the tried and true setups that have been researched for years? That Raceland stuff looks like it’s waiting to break. And how could you trust something made in China for your suspension? Where’s the quality control in something that only cost 200 bucks? Suspension is nothing something you should be looking to get cheap, especially when it’s a MAJOR component of the car and how it rides.

I put these coilovers on my brothers Golf they arent too bad. If they are all the way down it is a little bouncy but up some its a nice smooth ride and they handle pretty damn good.

I don’t see how that could be a nice setup when it only cost $200. I wouldn’t even waste the money on that
