i know this is a bit silly but I liked how mine turned out so I thought Id throw up a pic or two.
I replaced my dying rad recently but the rad cap seals were in perfect shap and the spring had lots of life so I figured Id try and make it look a little nicer than that stupid rusty thing with the “achtungbaby” sticker or whatever is on it.
I just cleaned it underneath with some Superclean and a toothbrush, then removed the sticker and grinded the paint off with a heavy gauge wire brush and a cordless drill: 
And instead of an ugly ass rusty rad cap being the first thing you see when you pop the hood now you get this: [/IMG]
I just rubbed a small bit of oil on it to stave off the rust but you can do whatever you like.
