Hey guys, I’ve been trying to get my car to pass the referee this past month. I’ve done everything he has told me to besides fixing my radiator fan. The previous owner wired the fan motor to my cigarette lighter because it wasn’t cycling previously. I need it to cycle it on and off because this dude is being a hard ass.
Any ideas on what could be wrong? I’ve looked at the diagram on my haynes manual and have been studying that. I’m a complete novice when it comes to anything electrical. I do have a/c but no a/c hoses but all the wires should be connected.
Is a job like this very hard? Any help will be appreciated. thanks

you say you have a/c? swap the condenser fan relay with the rad fan relay. see if that works. still not 100% accurate though, since we’d be assuming that the condenser fan relay was good. but it might work
The condenser fan relay should be fine, where does the original wiring for that green connecter that the fan motor plugs into? Right now its wired to the cigarette lighter through the firewall.
[QUOTE=Steezychristian;2238775]The condenser fan relay should be fine, where does the original wiring for that green connecter that the fan motor plugs into? I am going to have to check to see if the rad fan relay supplies the power or the ground for the rad fan, I can’t remember on a G2.
What year is your G2?
Also is only one of the leads to the rad fan cut or are both of them cut?
Also swapping the relays will do no good as the power for the rad fan has been re-wired.94
