I tossed my original radiator because the fins were falling out and the car would overheat while sitting at stop lights or traffic but would cool down when I got air through it. So I went and bought a radiator from a local for $50 hoping that I could toss it in and be ok. It was from a DC Integra so I figured that it would be pretty close. Should have searched that one first. Anyways I thought then that I could just then cut the sides of that area out and squeeze it in but now that I look at it, it seems like it is also taller. Is it even worth it to do or should I just sell it and find a DA specific radiator? Im trying to get away for cheap because this is my DD that I will be selling soon.
get a civic dual core half rad… they are like $80
Where can I get one for $80? I havent found anything that cheap, especially locally.
check this forum champ they are everywhere and even a full size rad…i actually might be sellin mine soon
Just checked Ebay also and I can get a Civic one for $90 shipped. Though I used their measurements listed and it seems like I would have to modify the front lower support to get the height to work. I really wanted just a drop in unit that fit and I could make up some brackets to hold it. Max height without cutting I think would be 15" or so. Civic rads seem to be 16 1/2"
