So All of a sudden, my radio and all interior lights stop working and then after a few days, the door ajar light starts flickering when I drive… And to make it worse, the door chime beeps when I use the indicators… Is there a ghost in my car? Lol.
I did notice some water on on the front passenger floor and after some research, I found out that its the vent gasket in the cowl. I will replace that but just asking if there are any sensitive fuses, relays in the immediate area besides the ECU?
I’m pretty sure there’s nothing else but your blower motor (don’t quote me on that) I would suggest that you fix that leak ASAP because you don’t wanna keep getting your ECU wet. It’s pretty easy if you look up some ‘write ups’ on how to fix the cowl gasket. And use weather stripping that you can get from just about any hardware store and not caulking like some idiots do.
Likely an issue with the icu. Although, unfortunately, I don’t know of a testing procedure for it
What does the ICU control exactly? and where is it located? Do you have to take off the interior fuse box to get to it? Car is a 92 Integra, 2 dr GS.
my issue is similar to this thread. sunday i put in my stereo. i supposedly fixed alot of ‘rat nest’ type bull crap wiring that i saw, connected everything and now, when i went to work this morning, i had no speedo lights, cigarette lighter…my a/c climate stuff was already out and that was the next thing i was going to look at fixing…anyone on this issue? i’m planning to check my fuses this afternoon, but i’m doubting i burned out any fuses.
you can take the ICU out easy and check it by sight. you will be able to see if its bad. search the forum for instructions and pictures. i bet yours is shot .

the same thing happen to me. the door light came on when the top dome light was on i know its was wired but try to turn on the light and if the door light comes on thats what happen to mine i just checked all my fuses and 2 were blown look under the hood in that fuse box and the one under the dash just check all of them i dont no what one it was of the top of my head but if its not that then its the ICU but just check the fuses befor spending all the $$
If I remember correctly, there is a illumination wire, make sure it’s not wired incorrectly, if you guys have put in an aftermarket stereo. For reference http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/stereodetail/147.html.

It is almost always a capasitor that is blown in the ICU. there is a write-up here someplace on a DIY fix.
The other possibility is a grounding issue, when one circuit has an effect on another circuit in a car it is almost always a grounding issue, check your dash harness grounds.94
