Where can i find the stock radio wire colors…or breaking the color codes?

Someone correct me if any are incorrect
Bolds are strong colors, small case are stripes

WHITE/blue- Memory (+12v)constant
YELLOW/red-Ignition (+12v) switched
BLACK-Ground(-)
RED/black- Illumination
YELLOW/white- Power antenna
RED/green- Right Front (+)
BROWN/black- Right Front (-)
BLUE/green-Left front(+)
GRAY/black-Left front(-)
RED/yellow-Right rear(+)
BROWN/white-Right rear(-)
BLUE/yellow-Left rear(+)
GRAY/white-Left rear(-)

Applys to almost all 86-97 honda’s/Acura’s. Use at your discretion. Strongly encouraged to use wire harness adaptor to make life simple.HTH

hey guys, my wires were cut short, i mean really short, so wat i did was when wiring, i wired teh RED/black instead of the RED/green for a speaker wire, now my clock is dead, and my deck wont even start. Wat am i suppose to do now, my radio fuse was perfectly fine, i really hope i dont have to replace teh fuse box, cuz i just did dat a week ago after trippin on wires :bang:

Sorry for bringing up this post again, but the stock deck has a simple plastic snap in connector that connects all the the wires together. If i wire another deck to this, will i have to cut this piece off?? Thanks :slight_smile:

Get one of these, connect it to your stock harness, and make life simple.

Right on, Just picked one up, and it did make my life much easier… I was gonna splice every one of my stock radio wires. Thanks for the info, and for the quick reply :slight_smile:

i wish i bought one, it took me forever splicing and i still havent hooked up the driver front speaker. i dont ever wanna go back there.
